Section Of The Family Dining Space

In my last post I shared with you a product that I am using in the family dining area! Here is an image of what the tile will look like behind the booths:

Along with the tile here are some of the other furniture and lighting that is used:

The use of drum lighting like this one above creates enough light for those dining without the light being too harsh. I love this fixture! I chose it because it has a sense of modernity while still remaining luxurious. It is perfect for the dining area.

The ghost chair is used in multiple rooms in the club. The chair is the perfect medium of modern and tradition. The style and shape of the chair is traditional. On the other hand, the chairs are made of acrylic which makes the chair more contemporary. These qualities make the chair ideal for the dining area.

Just like the ghost chairs, the tulip table is also very modern. The crisp white color and the trumpet base make for a contemporary look. Although, the circular tables would not work against the wall of booths I found a easy solution. On the website Loewenstein you can match bases and tops. I chose the trumpet base and a laminate top which comes in the white color.

Here is the base:

 Here is the table top:

New Product

When looking for materials for my project I wanted something unique! I found the perfect tile that went with the concept of "A Modern Tradition." Edgewater Studio has all kinds of glass tile that is beautiful! There are multiple color selections and Edgewater Studio can create any pattern or style. Everything is custom. Below is the sample that I chose for the family dining area above the booths.

This pattern was chosen because it is used continuously throughout the entire club. Not only is this pattern used in other locations of the club, it also brings a contemporary feel to the family dining area.

What do you think about the tile? Comment with your feedback!

Wine Tasting Area

One of the activity spaces in the club is the wine tasting area. The wine area is located at one of the entrances before the banquet hall. It can be used for smaller events and as a cocktail hour before a larger event in the banquet hall. The area can be used not only for wine tasting, but also for luncheons. It is also located close to the conference area. If there was an all day event in the conference room, they could easily access the wine area and set up lunch.

Some inspiration photos...

Here is a rough sketch of what the area will look like. The back wall has different wines which can be dispensed in small amounts for tasting. On either side of the bar are wine racks where the bottles can be stored. And cocktail tables are set up for more space for socializing and seating.

Also, here are some selections that will be used in the space:

Small Dining Tables

Barstools

Cocktail Tables
